Troop 413 Scouting Family started on January 31, 2006 by a group of ten people with a vision of creating and equipping the next generation of Godly leaders for our community. It started with 6 boys and today, Troop 413 has roughly 60+ registered active members. Our Scouting Family is also made up of our younger brothers in Pack 413. With Troop 413 and Pack 413 your boys will have a place to experience scouts at any school age all in one place! We have a link on our website for Pack 413. This boy-led troop empowers boys to be leaders by allowing them to develop a troop program and then take responsibility for figuring out how to achieve their goals. They accomplish this by electing a senior patrol leader and then organizing into groups of patrols under the guidance of the scoutmaster and his team. The troop schedules one or two events or outings each month consisting of campouts, community service projects, and activities such as swimming, wall ball, plus much more. Our troop is also very active in BSA order of the Arrow. The troop meets almost every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 at New Heights Church and holds at least 3 Courts of Honors during the year.
